We had 23 in our Bible study on Sunday. We also had our first potluck.
Dave finished up on Meekness, and we had a good time of fellowship.
Several of the teens are taking piano lessons and play by ear. They graced us with some of their tunes. Pretty good job!
Hey, the sun is peeking out! Several times today we had snow showers.
Until later.
A place to stay connected.

We were down several in our Sunday Bible study.
The flu bug seems to have hit several. There were 8 of us.
We still had a good time of singing and the message was on meekness
out of Matt. 5.
We trust everyone will be well and back on their feet and able to
come next Sunday. We will have our first Potluck, Pot providence?
Whatever you want to call it.
Alexcia is back to her normal self. Happy, playing, eating. No fever,
crabbiness or wanting held all day. Now I guess Sahalie is sick with a fever.
The snow is almost all gone. Just a few patches and the parking lot mountains are
shrinking too. We may get a skiff though tonight. We too in the northwest are ready for warmer sunnier days.
Our dryer bit the dust. I was not looking forward to using the laundromat.
My jack of all trades husband was able to fix it . Thank you, Honey!
Until next time. " Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near."

Well, it has been another wild and wholly week!
Dr. appts. sick baby, she's cutting her eye teeth and the Piano Recital.
The Recital went very well. The kids did an outstanding job, I am
proud of every one of them. We had 19 present. I look forward
to our next one the end of August. We may have a few twists at that one.
We were down in services the past couple Sundays because of illness.
We still averaged 16. We are looking forward to everyone being back
this next Sunday. We continue to pray that God will build this work
and make us a light on the hill.
Dave and I celebrate our 33rd Wedding Anniversary this Friday.
I'll let you know what we hope to do.
That about wraps it up for this week.
Jesus is The Rock in a weary land.

It was a busy week last week.
We are working on potty training LuLu. She knows what to do we just can't seem to get her to do it in the potty. Oh, the joys.... hey, I thought I already passed this with my own kids.
Grandson Matthew celebrated his 7th Birthday on Sunday. Happy Birthday, Matt!
We had another snow storm on Sunday and Monday. Just when it was all melting.
We had GREAT services on Sunday. We were down a few because of illness, but still
had 20 come. Dave brought the lesson from Matthew 5; Blessed are they that mourn.
I am predjudice, great job honey! The message was a Blessing!
I have seven piano students now and we are getting ready for our Spring Recital this coming Saturday. They have all worked so hard and are doing wonderful.
Until next time. Keep looking to Jesus the Author and Finisher of our Faith.

We are continuing to see God working.
I ran into my elderly neighbors at the grocery store yesterday
and they asked if we were still having our Bible study on Sunday
mornings. They had been wanting to come for a while but hadn't seen our sign outside and
thought we had moved or something. I told them yes, we were having Bible study
and that last week we had 22. They said they would be here.
They came and 22 others. So our fourth week and we had 24 today, Praise the Lord!
It's amazing the people that are not happy with the churches in the area and are
looking for straight forward preaching, old fashioned singing and good fellowship.
What will the Lord do next week.........

The Robins are back!
We've seen several big fat robins bobbin along in our backyard.
Spring must certainly be around the corner.
All our mountains of snow are melting rapidly, bare ground is showing, yippeee!!!!!
Exciting things are happening in our lives. We are seeing God move and work.
Many of you know that we not only moved back to Cd'A to be of help to Chris
but to see a work start here. It has been pretty discouraging the past 1 1/2 years and we had almost resigned to the fact that we were going to have to move to an area where we had a good sound
Church to go to. Maybe move back to Medford and our old Church Liberty Baptist. We sure have missed the folks there or Dave thought of Pastoring again. He contacted a Church in Arizona and one in Montana. Well the one in Montana knew a man here and asked if he had heard of us. No he hadn't but he would find out. He viewed Dave's Church website and contacted Dave. He and one of his sons came over and of course asked lots of questions. Come to find out we know this man's parents and had gone to Church with them many years ago in Post Falls. To make a long story short we met in this families home on Feb. 8 for Bible study. There were 3 other men present. We were 12 in all. The singing was great and Dave taught on True Fellowship out of 1 John.
We decided the next Sunday to have Bible Study at our home (they have animals and our daughter and granddaughter are allergic). During the week this brother called Dave and told him of more families interested in coming. Some were ill but we still had 11 come. Dave taught out of John 10, The Shepherd. This past Sunday was our third time meeting and we had 22 come. Six families represented. Dave is starting a series out of Matt. 5 on The Sermon On The Mount. Wow, how these folks love to sing. We are so excited to see how God is Blessing, working and growing a Church here .
You may ask why another church group aren't there enough in Cd'A?
My question is, How much are you willing to compromise to be in those Churches?
Until next time.

Well today is the day for Birthdays. Dave (my husband) is celebrating his 54,
my sister Vickie her 51 , and my Aunt Sherry.
I took Dave out to dinner yesterday on his day off. We wanted to try a
new place called "Seargents", but they were closed so we went to
a Mexican place.
We are having beautiful weather today. The sun is so bright!
New pics will be up soon.
